VISA ON ARRIVAL AND VISA FREE ENTRY
 

As of 1st February 2004, several significant changes have been implemented to Indonesia's visa laws. Citizens of certain countries will still be eligible for Visa Free Entry, while others will be eligible for Visa on Arrival, at a cost of 25 US$ for a 30 day visa and 10 US$ for a 3 day visa. Those not falling into either category will be required to apply for visa before departure to Indonesia. Please note that Visa on Arrival and Visa Free Entry can only facilitated at certain designated entry points to Indonesia. Entry at other points will require a visa before departure.

Citizens of the Following Countries

are Eligible for Visa on Arrival: The United States, Australia, South Africa, Argentina, Brazil, Denmark, United Arab Emirates, Finland, Hungary, England, Italy, Japan, Germany, Canada, South Korea, Norway, France, Poland, Switzerland, New Zealand and Taiwan.

Citizens of the Following Countries

are Eligible for Visa Free Entry: Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, the Philippines, Hongkong Special Administration Region (SAR), Macao SAR, Chili, Morocco, Peru and Vietnam

Designated Entry Points:

Airports that will have offer Visa on Arrival and Visa Free Entry facilities include Polonia Medan, Sutan Syarif Kasim II Pekanbaru, Tabing Padang, Soekarno-Hatta Jakarta, Juanda Surabaya, Ngurah Rai Denpasar and Sam Ratulangi Manado. Harbours that will have offer Visa on Arrival and Visa Free Entry facilities include Sekupang, Batuampar, Nongsa, Marina Teluk Senimba at Batam, Bandar Bintan Telani Lagoi and Bandar Sri Udana Lobam at Tanjung Uban, , Belawan, Sibolga, Yos Sudarso Dumai, Teluk Bayur Padang, Tanjung Priok Jakarta, Padang Bai Bali and Jayapura.
